WOW Living Employers

Clay County Rescue Mission offers a weekly flat rate to employ our program participants that will save you approximately 30% over the labor costs of hiring employees directly.

You can positively impact the recidivism rate in Clay County by giving formerly incarcerated individuals a chance. 

Take a chance on our program participants.  Our process is to discover the existing skill sets and passions of our program participants and match them to a suitable employer so that both parties benefit.  Our program participants may need on the job training, but they are grateful for the opportunity and will put their best effort forward and be eager to come to work everyday.

CCRM provides the program participants basic needs such as housing, food, clothing and transportation for 90-days while they are going through the on the job training.  They are also receiving counseling and spiritual services.  The employer brings them on as a temporary, contract employee at a flat rate paid to CCRM.

Phase 1 of WOW Living is a 90-day program in which the program participant gets on the job training.  At the end of the 90 days, it is the hope that the employer is able to offer long-term, direct employment to the program participant.
